We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God consisting of sixty six (66) books of the Old and New Testament. This verbally inspired Word of God is inerrant in the original manuscripts, infallible. It is the supreme authority and the final rule in life and faith. (II Timothy 3:16 and 17; II Peter 1:20 and 21; Isaiah 8:20; John 16:12 and 13)

We believe there is one only living and true God eternally existing in three persons ‑‑ Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the same in substance, equal in power and glory (Genesis 1:1; John 10:30; Deuteronomy 6:4; II Corinthians 13:14)

We reject, however, the modernist and liberal teaching that God is the Father of all, and that all are brothers. We believe that He is the Spiritual Father only of those who are born again and brought into His household. Only those who have been redeemed through His blood, having forgiveness of sins are our brothers. (John 3:3; Ephesians 4:18; John 1:12; John 8:44)

We believe in the Sovereignty of God. (Acts 15:18; Eph. 1:11; Psalm 135:6; Proverbs 16:4; Eph. 1:14)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the Eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man, (John 1:1, 2 and 14; Luke 1:35)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary, sacrifice; and that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead. (Acts 2:18-36; Romans 3:24-25; Eph. 1:7; 1 Pet. 2:24; 1 Peter 1:3-5)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, and is now exalted at the right hand of God, where as our High Priest He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor and Advocate. (Acts 1:9; Hebrews 9:24 and 7:25; Romans 8:34; I John 2:1 and 2)

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Person who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment; and He is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the Body of Christ, indwelling, and sealing them unto the day of redemption. (John 16:8‑11; I Corinthians 12:13)

We believe that He is the divine Teacher who guides believers into all truth and all saved ones are exhorted to be filled with the Spirit. (John 16:18; 1 John 2:20; Ephesians 5:18)

We believe that God is sovereign in the bestowal of spiritual gifts to every believer. God uniquely uses evangelists, pastors, and teachers for the “perfecting [equipping] of the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ.” (Rom. 12:3-8; 1 Cor. 12:4-11, 28; Eph. 4:7-12)

We believe that the sign gifts of the Holy Spirit, such as speaking in tongues and gift of healing, were temporary. Speaking in tongues was never the common or necessary sign of the baptism or filling of the Holy Spirit. Ultimate deliverance of the body from sickness or death awaits the consummation of our salvation in the resurrection, though God chooses to answer the prayers of believers for physical healing according to His will. (1 Cor 12:4-11, 28; Eph 4:7-12)

We believe Man was created innocent and pure, in God’s image (Genesis 1:26); Adam fell through the sin of disobedience (Romans 5:15); thereby all men are corrupted in body, mind, and spirit (Romans 5:12); therefore all are in need of redemption.

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. We believe that all sins, except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, are forgivable. (Matt. 12:31-32; John 1:12; Eph 1:7; 2:8-10; 1 Pet. 1:18-19; 1 John 1:9)

We reject the modernist view, that God is the Father of all, and that all are brothers. We believe He is the Spiritual Father of those who are born again. Only those who have been redeemed through the blood of Jesus Christ are brothers.

We also reject the modernist view that man has in himself a divine spark, in that in his lost state he has some power of spiritual discernment.

We further believe that the Holy Spirit is the one who convicts and convinces the sinner of his guilt before God and his deliverance by Christ Jesus.

We also acknowledge that a saved person possesses two natures, that he still has a bent to sin; but that he also has the ability to "Live Godly in Christ Jesus,” by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven, and in His present life there for us, as a High Priest, Advocate, and the only Mediator between God and man. (Acts 1:21‑22, 2:24, 29:32, 4:33; 1 Corinthians 15:15)

We believe that all the redeemed are kept by God's power and are secure in Christ forever. (John 6:37‑4O, 10:27‑30; Romans 6:1, 38; 1 Corinthians 1:4-8; I Peter 1:5; 1 John 2:19; Romans 8:38‑39)

We believe the saved should rejoice in a personal confidence of a present salvation which rests in the manifestation of the indwelling Christ and veracity of the Word of God. (I John 5:11‑13)

We believe sanctification in two aspects that 1) God sanctifies, that he sets us apart, at the time of our personal acceptance of Christ as Lord and Savior. (I Corinthians 6:11; John 1:12; Colossians 3:26) 2) We experience sanctification by the degree we yield to God, separate from sin, and grow in wisdom, knowledge, experience, and grace. (Romans 12:1; Psalms 119:11; II Corinthians 3:18)

We believe in the bodily resurrection of men: the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment. (Matthew 25:46; John 5:28, 11:25-26)

We believe that the souls of the redeemed are at death, absent from the body and present with the Lord, where in conscious bliss they await the first resurrection when spirit, soul, and body are reunited to be glorified forever with the Lord. (Luke 23:45; Revelation 20:4‑6; II Corinthians 5:8; Philippians 1:23, 3:21; 1 Thessalonians 4:16‑17)

We believe that the souls of unbelievers remain, after in conscious misery until the second resurrection, when with soul and body reunited they shall appear at the Great White Throne of Judgment, and shall be cast into the Lake of Fire, not to be annihilated, but to suffer everlasting conscious punishment. (Luke 16:19‑26; Matthew 25:41-46; II Thessalonians 1:7‑9; Jude 1:6‑7; Mark 9:43‑48; Revelation 20:11‑15)

We believe that the Universal Church, which is the body and the espoused bride of Christ, is a spiritual organism made up of all born again persons and only born-again persons of this present age. (Ephesians 1:22‑23, 5:26‑27; 1 Corinthians 12:12‑14; 11 Corinthians 11:2)

We believe that the establishment and continuance of the local church is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures. (Acts 14:27; 20:17, 28-32; 1 Tim 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-11)

We believe in the autonomy of the local church, free from any ecclesiastical, external human authority or control (Acts 13:1-4; 15:19-31; 20:28; Rom. 16.4; 1 Cor 3:9, 16; 5:4-7,13; 1 Pet. 5:1-4)

We believe that Christ gave only two ordinances to the Church to be served "till He come."

The Lord's Supper. It was left us as an ordinance by the Lord Himself (Matthew 26:26‑28; Mark 14:22‑24, Luke 22:19, 20; 1 Corinthians 11:23‑25) for a memorial of His death until He comes, and should not be taken unadvisedly, but with the examination of one's life.

Believer’s Baptism. We practice baptism because of the example of our Lord Jesus while He was here on earth (Matthew 28:19). We accept immersion as the scriptural mode of baptism. It should be made clear that there is no saving power in baptism-- it is meant for those who are already saved, giving a clear picture of the fact that the believer is dead, buried, and raised spiritually with Jesus Christ by faith in Him. (Romans 6:1-13)

We believe that God created the universe in six, literal, 24-hour periods. We reject evolution, the Gap Theory, and the Day-Age Theory, and Theistic Evolution as unscriptural theories of origin. (Gen. 1-2; Ex. 20:11)
